Join us at our annual Math Night on March 13 from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Westminster Community Charter School.
The event will include math games, prizes and a Spaghetti Dinner presented by our very own Parent Advisory Committee!
An annual tradition at Westminster, Math Night – Explore the “PASTA-bilities” was also held this month. This year it was combined with a spaghetti dinner sponsored by our Parent Advisory Committee. This year’s activities focused on games and activities that families could do at home to encourage more mathematical thinking. We had an estimation station where students had to guess how many pieces of candy were in a certain jar as well as game stations, including card and dice games which practiced basic math facts in fun and competitive ways. In addition, we had a station devoted to learning about pi where students were able to find their birth date in the number pi!
