Today, Tuesday, November 25th, Westminster Community Charter School eighth graders served kindergarten, first, and second grade with a festive Friendsgiving meal delivered right to their classroom.
Younger students received turkey, mashed potatoes, beans, and cornbread to enjoy with their classmates.
After their meals, 8th graders stayed to participate in an activity with each class. This included fall-themed coloring, reading books, and team-building activities.
The day was centered around compassion, togetherness, and a shared love for the Westminster community. Thank you to the 8th graders for taking time out of your day to be servant leaders and assist with our Friendsgiving festivities.
